The Bannett family builds. They always have. Our current CEO, Scott Bannett, learned the business from his father, Barry, an architect, who started The Bannett Group in 1970. Barry has been a leader in the Design Build community and a recipient of the prestigious Design Build Institute of America’s (DBIA) lifetime achievement award. Barry learned his craft from his father, Joe Bannett, just as Joe received his start from his father, Simon Bannett who was an architect and master builder. Our company has been servicing the commercial design & architecture needs of local businesses, national brands and commercial developers for almost 50 years.
Since those early years, we’ve grown to become one of the fastest growing companies in Philadelphia and a trusted partner to some of the fastest growing brands in the country. But we never forget where we started or how we got to where we are. In this business, you’re only as good as your last project. So we’re always looking to build and design in the smartest way we can. Commercial Design & Architecture
The Bannett Group’s full-service in-house design firms operates under the business name The Bannett Group Design. Over the years, we’ve always stay on the leading edge of design. In the 80’s we adopted computer assisted design and, more recently, incorporated Building Information Modeling (BIM) and green design as our clients have looked to reduce their carbon footprint.
Our team looks at the design process from a holistic approach. We begin by listening, absorbing what our clients clients have to say about the problems they are looking to address, their short and long term operational needs, as well as their business culture. We work with them to prioritize strategic architectural design goals keeping real-world project constraints in mind.
